POSITION SUMMARY
Receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom. Coordinates duplication of materials, distribution of mail and packages and provide clerical support to hospital staff.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Orders and stores supplies
Retrieves, cleans, disinfects, and decontaminates equipment
Sets up carts for pharmacy and other departments
Inventories units and delivers supplies
Verifies merchandise as received against packing slip
Inventories, receives, and stocks supply distribution storeroom
Fills phone, walk in, and OC orders for supplies and equipment
Inputs patient charges and verifies charges
Orders specialty beds and other equipment
Updates records for equipment stored in the storeroom
Participates in yearly physical inventory
Manages end of the month bookkeeping for all departments
Processes incoming mail
Performs industrial copy work, record maintenance, forms control
Collects, weighs, and affixes postage to outgoing mail
Laminates, binds, prints, revises and formats various hospital forms and documents
Attends departmental meetings
Updates departmental records as necessary
Rotates stock as necessary
Tags supplies with patient charge labels
Receives and delivers storeroom office supplies
Assists with operator maintenance of department equipment
Maintains hard copy of all hospital forms
Stocks mailroom forms, folders and packets
Minimum Requirements

Skill in print finishing (padding, trimming, collating, book making, laminating, etc)
Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE

Previous supply aide experience preferred
Experience operating high volume copier, postage machine, letter opener, industrial hole punch, binding machine, laminator, industrial size paper cutter, and computer preferred
